IBC tote accessories & parts — because a five-dollar gasket saves a whole tote.

Valves, caps, gaskets, adapters, cages, pallets, and covers for 275 & 330 gallon totes. The unglamorous parts that turn a leaking, retired tote back into a working one — which is about the most sustainable thing you can buy.

Quick answerWe stock the full range of IBC tote replacement parts: 2in butterfly valves, S60x6 caps and lids, gaskets, adapters and fittings, cages, pallets, and heater covers. Repairing a tote with a small part almost always beats replacing the whole container — for your budget and the planet.

Why parts matter

Repair is the greenest purchase in the catalog

A worn valve or cracked pallet does not mean a dead tote. Swap the part, keep the container, and you have just prevented ~120 pounds of HDPE and steel from becoming a problem.

01

Extend, do not replace

One new gasket or valve can add years of service to an otherwise sound tote. Least waste, lowest cost, best math.

02

Keep the loop turning

Every repaired tote is one that never had to be re-manufactured or land-filled. Small parts, big diversion.

03

Fitment you can trust

Standard IBC threads (S60x6, 6in fill) and 40×48 footprints mean our parts drop into the totes you already own.

Most replaced

Valves

The number-one wear item. Replace a seeping 2in butterfly valve or upgrade to a ball valve for positive shut-off on high-value liquids.

Caps & lids

6in fill caps and S60x6 outlet caps, vented or solid. Vented lids protect the bottle from pressure and vacuum on off-gassing contents.

Gaskets & seals

Match the elastomer to the chemistry — EPDM for water and mild solutions, Viton for aggressive chemicals, silicone for food and heat.

Adapters & fittings

Camlock, garden-hose, and NPT adapters that turn a plain outlet into an irrigation feed, a pump connection, or a fill station.

Cages & pallets

A refurbished galvanized cage or fresh 40×48 pallet restores a structurally tired tote to full shipping and stacking compliance.

Heaters & covers

Wrap-around heaters and insulated jackets keep viscous or freeze-prone contents flowing; UV covers protect what the sun would spoil.

When to repair, and when to trade up

We would rather sell you a gasket than a tote you do not need — but sometimes a fresh container is the smarter move. Here is how we think about it.

Repair it
  • The bottle is sound — no cracks, bulging, or UV crazing.
  • Only the valve, gasket, cap, or cage needs attention.
  • The prior contents match your intended reuse.
  • You want the cheapest, lowest-carbon fix available.
Trade up instead
  • The bottle itself is cracked, brittle, or contaminated.
  • You need a documented grade change the old bottle cannot meet.
  • Multiple systems are failing at once — a rebottle is cheaper.
  • The tote is genuinely retired — send it to us for upcycling.

Then look at reconditioned totes or give a tired tote a second life.

Fitment 101

Know your threads before you order

Most IBC parts fail to fit for one reason: a thread mismatch. The good news is that totes use a small set of standard openings, so once you know yours, ordering is easy.

01

The S60x6 outlet

The buttress thread on the bottom outlet where the valve screws on — about 63 mm across. Most 275 and 330 gallon totes share it, which is why a standard 2 in butterfly valve drops right in.

02

The 6 in fill lid

The 150 mm screw cap on top. Vented versions relieve pressure and vacuum on off-gassing or fast-pumped contents; solid caps seal tight for storage.

03

The 2 in valve bore

Standard bottom-drain valves are 2 in (DN50). Adapters step this down to camlock, garden-hose (GHT), or NPT so you can connect hoses, pumps, and irrigation.

04

Match the elastomer

A gasket only seals if the rubber survives your chemistry — EPDM for water, Viton for aggressive chemicals, silicone for food and heat.

05

Cage & pallet size

Replacement cages and 40 × 48 in pallets are sized to the tote capacity. Confirm 275 vs 330 so the frame and base line up.

06

When in doubt, send a photo

Not sure which thread or fitting you have? Send a photo of the outlet and lid and we will identify it and confirm fitment before you buy.

Seal selection

Which gasket for which contents

The single most common repair is a leaking seal — and the single most common mistake is fitting the wrong rubber. Match the elastomer to your contents and the fix lasts.

ElastomerHandles wellAvoid with
EPDMWater, mild acids & bases, many food liquidsOils, fuels, aggressive solvents
Viton (FKM)Solvents, fuels, acids, oilsHot water and steam, some ketones
SiliconeFood contact, high & low temperaturesConcentrated acids, hydrocarbons
Buna-N (Nitrile)Oils, greases, fuelsStrong oxidizers, ozone exposure
PTFENearly all chemicals, broad rangeJobs needing an elastic, forgiving seal

Not certain what your contents call for? Describe them in the quote form and we will spec the right seal.

Questions

IBC parts & accessories FAQ

How do I identify my tote's valve thread?
The great majority of 275 and 330 gallon totes use a 2 in butterfly valve on an S60x6 (about 63 mm) buttress outlet. If you are unsure, send us a photo of the outlet and we will confirm before you order.
Can I replace a valve myself?
Usually yes. Drain the tote, unscrew the old valve from the S60x6 outlet, seat a fresh gasket, and hand-tighten the new one. It is one of the easiest repairs there is and often all a seeping tote needs.
What gasket material should I use?
Match it to your contents: EPDM for water and mild solutions, Viton for aggressive chemicals and oils, silicone for food and heat. Our seal-selection table above is a quick guide, or ask us.
Do you sell replacement cages and pallets separately?
Yes. A refurbished galvanized cage or a fresh 40 × 48 in composite or wood pallet restores a structurally tired tote to full stacking and shipping compliance without replacing the bottle.
What adapters connect a tote to a garden hose or pump?
Garden-hose (GHT), camlock, and NPT adapters thread onto the 2 in outlet to feed irrigation, pumps, and fill stations. Tell us the equipment you are connecting and we will match the fitting.
When is it not worth repairing a tote?
If the bottle itself is cracked, brittle, or contaminated, a repair will not save it — look at a rebottled tote instead, or give a truly retired one a second life.
